I don't think I can exaggerate how great this BCBW is tasting right now. Holy shit. Cheers all.
Hell yeah! it's drinking really fresh and creamy tonight, too. Cheers!
A solid porter. Thought I'd like it a bit more, but tasty nonetheless.
Oh No not again. Oh hell its fun
Nothing better then enjoying this tasty brew while knocking out a little food prep. Cheers!
Lagunita's Born Yesterday X2, one of my favorite from 2015.
Black Hog Barleywine They just released their 2015 batch. This stuff is awesome. If you are anywhere near Oxford, CT you should give it a try.
Happy Hump Day!
Started with what was sadly the last bottle of the box from @WesMantooth . Corey, keep sending me the local stuff brah!
But now onto this, not "local" but still from the Best Coast
Hoppy birthday BAs!
Short's Cup A Joe Coffee Crème Stout
First time. We'll see....
21st Amendment Brew Free or Die IPA
2014 Founders Backwoods Bastard.... a true classic.
Had to remind myself the chase is worth it
It's worth it
Not sitting in silence...
Happy hump day!
Had to kick this out of the cellar to make room for my Rare refugees.
At homecoming someone brought this one. I am not a fan of Bourbon County fresh. With a year on it though it was delicious. The bourbon fades and the malts come up to make a beautiful beer.
Getting this KBS was just so randomly awesome (02/12/15 bottling)...
I thought I just plain missed it this year - I got it every other year (I think), so I wrote it off as no big deal, y'know?
So... ...I'm at the counter today, with my Pipeworks Amarillo and two cans of Captain's Daughter from the loose section, and the guy slides a KBS up onto the counter and asks me if I want it... lol
This is really epic drinking. This is the most age I've had on one. I usually get 'em when they first come 'round (they sell out in a day), and, having no storage capacity, drink 'em...
The chocolate is really peaking, slightly like chocolate syrup, with a soft touch of vanilla and caramel... silky-smooth feel.
The best KBS I've ever had...
"Now it's all gone" lol - that's literally the line the song ends with ...lol
Grabbed this new Wicked Weed offering. Not getting the amount of chocolate or orange I was expecting but a good IPA anyway.
That's a long way for Baby Ducks to travel. Cheers!
Stone Bourbon Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard. This is a bottle from last years Bastard box. This is drinking wonderfully.
#2 at Madame Janette's.
how is that?
Everything I had hoped for
Time for my beer for tonight.
von Trapp Brewing Von Trapp Vienna Lager
I hated the opening credits of The Leftovers and now I love it. Cheers.
Knocking back a couple Fresh Squeezed then down to Thunder Canyon brewery for a base before seeing Dave and Phil Alvin concert. Some blues and old Blasters to rock the night away. Cheers
I really liked this beer. Was I crazy or do you concur?
Just got it in the mail today! It travels well
Once in a while I will mix a nice aged rum into the second half of my beer. Usually dark beers. Just for fun. This beer, however, tastes like I already mixed in the rum.... but in reality I didn't. Very interesting... Good overall, but different.
Just had a 15 KBS a couple weeks ago, feel like it's peaking right now. So good! Cheers to Killswitch Engage too.
Im with you couldn't wait t get distro local. Had that and the Red IPa in NH this summer and now have an APA and another red to drink in the fridge now. One of my favorite aspects of that beer s the soft mouthfeel. Probably from the water .....
This is an amazing beer. New to Ohio, I think I have a (yet again) another favorite.
