    Another fridge turd. A great label, a mediocre beer. I never got much of any Citra hop flavor from this when fresh, and gave it up for dead. I gifted three as 'novelties' because of the cool label and one person ended up liking it. Different strokes......

    I saw my cardiologist today. The stents are working well and my blood work is just about perfect. I celebrated with Stoneface Porter at York River Landing.

    Then my wife and I had lunch at Loco Coco's. She had the margarita, I had Mayflower Thanksgiving Ale.

    I stopped at Carl's Met Market on the way home. They have a very nice beer selection. Among other things, I picked up Double or Nothing, a barleywine with maple syrup. I'm liking it.

    Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that today is the 30th anniversary of the first Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. It's one of my favorite comics of all time, and can teach us a lot about friendship.

    Definitely one of my favorite's from King too! The Stand, Hearts in Atlantis and Desperation / The Regulators are among my faves! Of course The Dark Tower series is just epic too! But IT is just a great book and the TV series, while wasn't the best, showcased Tim Curry at his best...still have nightmares from that performance and ruined my view of clowns!

    Congrats on the clean bill of health! Calvin and Hobbes is a great comic indeed, but now I feel old. :astonished:
