    Morning. So my son is an adult now and the holidays are low key for sure. I have already made one turkey and I will certainly make another. Today I am making cornish hens with smoked paprika and fresh herbs, potatoes with sage and orange peel, and a nice side salad . Guess what is on the menu tomorrow? Black bean chili with esspresso. Why you ask? Well because I like to cook so who cares what day it is. Oh and by the way, if I ask you "Did you eat all the cake?" The correct answer is "Yes. I ate it all." OK then I make-a some more :grinning: Cheers!

    It is one of my favorites as since it is the shadow of Christmas we have not seen the need to overly commercialize Thanksgiving other than the retailers seeking one more day of Christmas Shopping.

    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4

    Pours chocolate brown with a 2 finger head

    Smells of fresh coffee, burnt malts, slight chocolate syrup and lactose

    Delicious! Chocolate, lactose, coffee, and roast malts all come together harmoniously. The finish is of milky lactose.

    Feel is spot on for a porter, thick but not too thick, medium bodied with just enough water to make it crushable, mild yet exciting carbonation.

    I'll start buying this in sixers. A great, easy porter. Mai e `inu!!
