    A Monday off, by George! I think I'll kick it off with this: Mikkeller George Imperial Stout, 12.12% ABV. Brewed in Norway. I picked this up for two bucks at the local HyVee shelf-turd selloff last week. Now that everyone else has had a crack at it, I'm going back for the rest today.

    Morning BA's started my morning with A beer I had been waiting to try and was kinda disappointed by, Brasserie Generale's Les Beluga Ltee golden ale. From my understanding some of the money from this beer is donated to a foundation to help save belugas. They made a really good scotch ale which increased my expectations. This beer looks and smells phenominal. Aromas of apple, grape, pineapple some light honey and earthy hops. However the Taste is overwhelmed by those earthy hops. Oh well can't like em all, guess thats just part of the experience. Cheers![​IMG]

    Amazingly this is the first time I've sat down and actually reviewed this one. I've had every vintage going back at least three or four years, and live two blocks from the brewery. It's a goddamn modern classic.

    No frozen water around these parts just yet though! Only had a few mild frosts so far, which is pretty unusual; last year by this time my lake was already frozen!

    Next up is another Beau's beer, Their black forest IPA, as I'm sure some of you can guess this is a black IPA with brewed with Cherries, The nose is Earthy hops, some light chocolate and cherry, It's honestly not the most appealing smell to me, hope it tastes ok. cheers![​IMG]
