    Goose Island Bourbon County Barleywine from last year. This beer is drinking so nice. I hope I can save the other 2 bottles for a 3 year vert next year.

    My last nerdy Lego shot for the night. If I had all the money I have spent on beer and Legos...
    I think this might be my favorite beer. I know this is a bold statement but I like it better than Abraxas, which I had for the first time last week. I need to revisit Prairie Bomb because I did really enjoy that one.

    Take two (or more) different types of steel, forge weld them together (same idea as Samurai swords, not fusion welding like TIG/MIG/Stick as that would melt them together, combining the steels - the point here it to join them, but keep them from mixing), repeat to get the number of different layers and manipulate (twist, remove material, mix/match stock, unfold) to get the pattern you want (can keep adding more layers also). And then bring out the contrast of the different layers by 'etching' with vinegar, ferric chloride, citric acid etc., which reacts differently with the different metals (here the steel with more nickel content stays bright, where the high carbon steel is eaten up and darkens)... Fun stuff!

    Yeah, it is getting ridiculous. The lag is something fierce. I just lose interest and if its a beer I've had...I just repost an old pic. Then I go back and, boom! There's the picture I just uploaded. Oh well.

    Actually pretty good stuff not sure how old it is probably been on the self for awhile before I grabbed it I imagine...

    Usually don't care about labels but I really like the label also lol it puts me in the "scene" of this beer.
