    Well its not a dark beer (yet) but I was excited about this new one from Clown Shoes so I'm starting with this anyway.

    Moses and the Misfits - Imperial cream ale brewed with cacao nibs and vanilla beans (hey the adjuncts are dark, does that count??)

    Imagine Calm Before the Storm with three times the mouthfeel, no coffee and half the sweetness. Pretty interesting brew, I almost wish it was sweeter actually but we'll see what happens as it warms up.

    Going to add some Midwestern class to this thread with a beer that is at least appropriately named for the food pairing. Hey, give me a break! It was a busy morning of grocery shopping for next weeks menu and dropped the pooch at the groomer. It's been a long time since I last consumed any of these. I'm sure I'll remember why when I'm at a play tonight. Darkness Day may take on a whole new meaning! :astonished:
