    I need a beer and unfinished basements totally suck, an occasional spider and other "unsavory" pop up every now and again - I really need to move that beer fridge to a better part of the house. Since it's "Day of the Dark", I'm goin' for a good stout just like a good majority of my fellow geeks will be doin' today.

    Ozark Beer Company Cream Stout brewed right here locally in Arkansas. Good light easy drinking stout at 6.5% alcohol. This is one of my favorite stouts I have drank.

    My local store had Guinness Extra Stout brewed in Canada (which apparently they have ceased doing). So I bought one of those and am enjoying it today since I may never have another chance to taste this particular version of Guinness.

    ...and listening to some Christmas Blues tunes, such as ...

    just brought a sixer to the counter of a local beer establishment and they said $23.99 and I said no thanks.......put it back on shelf....had no idea....maybe I am not as established in the culture as I thought....evidently I still have limits.

    Beer looks good. Food looks great (too great). Music is cool. All you might need to add is a few statins to mop up the cholesterol although I hear alcohol does the same!

    Here's how it started...

    He's relentless.
    Possibly unstoppable.
    Inhuman abilities.

    At precisely 6:43 AM last years winner @mbeerdino21 kicked off the DOTD ~ 2015 with a Bomb (13% ABV), proudly displaying his trophy from last year, and threatening a shower beer later.
    Expectations are high.

    @dcotom follows and immediately Fades to Black with beautiful black moodiness from some
    dark place that seems to come to him.....naturally.
    Then...

    A classic post from @nicholas2121 As if from another dimension. A brilliant reminder that
    ANYTHING GOES and the Order of the Universe is still intact at 7:02 on WBAYDN #1155...

    @mbeerdino21 declares @nicholas2121 the winner.

    From Belgium, @BenBreeg shines a light on the proceedings with a great German beer and
    quickly We are the World!

    Having disarmed the Bomb, @mbeerdino21 has brazenly moved on to Victory at Sea. No subtle metaphor here! Rumors run rampant that he's trying to take first and second place!!!

    @thebeers enjoys breakfast and reminds us how truly immature we all are when you think about.

    @Scrapss risks his very soul, and is the first to summon and use the Duvel. A good strategy, but dangerous at this early hour.

    The dark beers start rolling in lead by the powerful imagery of @Highbrow @cookiequiz and
    the four part epic from @superspak

    @SanFranJake staying up late or awake very early, offers to join @mbeerdino22 in the shower later with a manly beer and some "tile scrubbing".

    If you blink, you'll miss the third @mbeerdino21 post in just the first hour of DOTD. There is no third place prize but he's trying! While cooking breakfast for his kids, he predicts his own demise at 2PM. We'll be watching...

    @nodder joins in with a perfectly placed Dark Side of the Moon album cover. Moving.
    Feels like the calm before the storm.

    @SanFranJake clears his house out of people, prepares to "clean the shower", and fearlessly starts drinking!!!

    At this point it becomes clear to me that I will not be able to comment on every post because
    my wife is telling me "We need to do the Christmas cards. Now!"

    Also, from @Ardeer we had full frontal nudity for the first time...that I'm aware of anyway.
