    like ralf and florian, jean michel jarre was def an electronic music pioneer. his first studio album was released just two year's after kraftwerk's first.

    This lousy picture shows a 32-ounce growler I had filled this afternoon at The Growler Guys. It contained Hop Venom, a fantastic double IPA from the good folks at Boneyard Brewing in Bend, OR.

    Ushering in the new year with this beast of a beer, and holy crap, is it worthy of the occasion. This might be yet another of one of the best beers I've ever had. Maybe barleywines are my new favorite style. The perfect balance of malty complexity and hoppy fruitiness just blows my mind. This is just absurdly good. Wow. Now I just need to try the Extra Hoppy version. :grinning:
    Anyway, I hope all of you beer advocates have a happy new year. You deserve it.
