    Hmmm, another NYS beer that just isn't making the cut. Decent, but so many better porters out there. OTOH it was on the discount rack for 4.99 a six.

    Clare's Thirsty Ale. I must admit that I like many BAs in their reviews tend towards being more generous with the numbers...but I've had the privilege of this one on a couple of occasions and if I could rate a beer as a 5+++ I would give it to Clare's Thirsty Ale from Haymarket in Chicago. Oh, those raspberries I tell ya!!! I imagine the most luscious bourbon infused chocolate raspberry brownie and it must taste like this beer does now.

    Getting ready for my first bottle share with not just a fellow BA, but my first bottle share with people I've never met before (if I turn up in a shallow grave somewhere, have the authorities contact @oach).
    Seriously though-I'm bringing three barrel aged stouts, so I might as well prep myself now.

    Lunch beer (i.e., What Beer are you Drinking Now in your Car?)

    Pretty tasty - from Trader Joe's - brewed by Uinta Brewing / Salt Lake City - not as good as when they had Firestone Walker make it for them, but at $1.16 per bottle ($6.99 / sixer) hard to beat!

    Psyched that I found a 1970's vintage iceboat on Craigslist for $150 bucks - will go check it out this weekend! Hard water sailing, baby!
