Yes is the only answer.
My lineup tonight in order from left to right.
Can't wait to try this. Great Lakes is such a great brewery.
1. Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin
2. Lagunitas IPA
Been on a lagunitas kick lately. Great beer and the price is right.
New Glarus Enigma with a plate of Somerset Blueberry Stilton Cheese.
Juliet, paired with a California club panini and home made guacamole
Now splitting this with the girlfriend.
Wasn't going to drink tonight but one won't hurt!
watch Prince come in and shred at the 3:30 mark
who needs burgers? you only need more bacon.
Which brings me to this afternoon's epiphany (while making blts): Why do women wear floral perfume? They should wear a scent that universally appealing to guys: BACON
(for that matter, guys, it would also attract the ladies. Well, at least the ladies you want to hang with.)
Just finished my last bottle of The Meddler. Working on Hanssens Artisinal Oude Gueuze. Next up: Courage Imperial Russian Stout and Nugget Nectar. I may not drink both of those.
BobZ sent me this weizen stout, so naturally we're gonna split it between a weizen glass and a stout glass.
It's a battle royale.
Some Monday night treats
First brew from Renaissance Brewing Company (Marlborough, New Zealand) tonight: M.P.A. brewed with Rakau hops, a new New Zealand hop variety. The flavor reminds me of Summit and a bit of Simcoe hops with a hint of passionfruit. I enjoy Summit, but they tend to be polarizing. If you are among those that don't like Summit, I'm guessing you won't enjoy Rakau hops.
from the hopology 12 pack
Well I was going to go to bed after those 3. But the nat geo special on the bin laden raid is on from 11-1. Might be having one or 2 unplanned extras.
ALPHA KING KONG
Hopslam in a Heady Topper glass. If I had a hopslam glass, I would reverse it next.
Enjoying that Entropic now . . . and man it is pretty damn tasty. So light and lemony. Review here: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/28383/90155/?ba=fmccormi
Yeah I thought it was a cool pic and wanted to recreate it myself. Damn I did a fine job at that!
It's been a lovely night.
I wish I had the talent!

Short's Goodnight Bodacious
DFH Palo Santo Marron
I bought the same psck. I figured the glass and stout were for me. The other beers I would open for guests.
Islander IPA from Coronado
Back from a lovely long weekend in Seattle. Had some great beers. The standout is probably Boneyard Notorious 3xIPA.
Anyway, 3 Floyds Behemoth with some aged cheddar, olives and cornichon tonight:
Awesome stand by IPA. Not Heady Topper, but excellent nonetheless.
Had this on draft a few weeks ago and I thought it was phenomenal.
Glass #2 of HF Double Galaxy from the growler. Cheers.
Very nice Porter. Lots of chocolate with some caramel, coffee, toffee, and floral earthiness. No complaints at all really. Very easy to drink. BTW Dark Horse DATES now. DDD-YY on the neck. I can get finally get some fresh Crooked Tree!
Damn nice red ale! Lots of well balanced hop complexity with a good malt backbone. Extremely well balanced.
Just came home to this!
We Southerners appreciate smoking, so hats off to this one!
2010 Odin's Tipple.
If you haven't tried it yet, I am sorry for you.
Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Barleywine. Been waiting a while to try this. So worth the wait.
