First tangle with this brew - deeper hop character than expected, solid balance with the malt...I think I'd rank this one pretty highly among most of the hoppy Lagers/Imperial Pils etc. that I've imbibed.

Hmmm, I guess it still is early. Starting with something a little different for me. Got my to-do list done already, the school week has been planned, so now it's time to quick back and do some questing and watch some Always Sunny while our foreign exchange student is out of the house. Enjoying one of my dad's favorite beverages as well. He has some good taste.

Could not agree more! I've watched it from start to end (including season 10) 4 times. This is coming from a guy who has only watched maybe... 2 shows all the way through, and only rewatched a handful of movies. I was Mac for Halloween this past year and I think I'm going as the Day Man for next Halloween.

I've been quoting Always Sunny all morning. I think it's a function of not having watched it in a record breaking 4 days.

 

The classic Tripel Karmeliet! An excellent beer, although I wasn't particularly impressed by it (Maybe I'm just spoiled with easy access to La Fin du Monde )

I think Hershey's called and they want their Jolly Rancher recipe back. Man, is this sweet! Was bummed at first that I couldn't buy a 6pk, but now I'm content with only two. I like it, but good god is it sweet. I'd buy it again, but no way josé am I starting my day out with one. Lol. My palate has been slayed for the rest of today. Cheers

As @MUTINY mentioned, snowy day today 'round here. So I decided to grab some sustenance before shoveling round #1. Might turn to sleet/rain which means eventually ice, so maybe only one round (fingers crossed); also means got to get it done before snow gets too heavy .


Figured I'd pawn the "out of date" beer on the GF since Valentine's is over and I no longer have to be nice .

 

Got the day off for Presidents Day! Woohoo. It's time for a brew and I opted for a Dragon's Milk Vanilla Chai. DM isn't a big favorite but this isn't bad at all. Actually it's very good.
