    One of my favorite German hefe's to start my day!

    Had a nice kayak paddle last night on my lake - beaver, osprey, herons, large carp mating in the shallows, and a great sunset and beer!

    Enjoyed my first 2016 PCBW (Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week) collaboration last night--Greenfield Bridge is Falling Down, a four brewery built IPA that was quite good, but now starting over with a low ABV (3.7%) wild one.

    First kbs, great beer but not as good as I was expecting. Coffee overpowers and the barrel seemed muted.

    Just got off a 24hr shift. Having a big beer to celebrate. New one from Westbrook called Grand-mere; a strong ale aged for 12 months in cognac barrels with fresh oranges added.
