On draft at Sublime Ale House San Marcos:
This was really a nice hoppy DIPA with none of the sweet or boozy character I sometimes get with high ABV IPAs.
Holy Smooth Velvety Chocolate! Very drinkable and delicious for 11%.
I also had a Rip Current Tube Rye-der Session IPA, which was very nice (gotta support the good local guys; these guys do it right).

I have never bought a 6 pack of 60 min ever, til Saturday when I saw whole foods had some bottled 1/23. I am starting to wish I tried this sooner. Seriously impressive and fricking delicious, for a 6% brew no less! Hoppy yet still has a good malt backbone. Lots of tangerine, grapefruit, citrus zest, lemon hoppiness.

Good Pilsner. Kind of different because of the munich, lots of nutty biscuit notes. fairly hoppy and fruity-estery. No idea on bottle dating. Nicely enjoyable.

Oh HELLS yea. Whats up with the west coast and all the kick ass Export stouts. Pelican and Pikes also come to mind. Tons of dark roast/chocolate/char/coffee with plenty of citrus and pine hops. Just lovely. Oats add a nice body too. I need to make another FES soon, with Pacific NW hops instead :grinning:

Cheers, probably another 60 min or a Sucks next

Sitting in a motel in Plano Texas, at least there's a Specs down the road. So far tonight it's been Hebrew Bittersweet Lenny's RIPA, Clown Shoes Lubricator, and finishing up with Ranger Creek Mesquite Smoked Porter. That's some damn strong smoke in that bottle.

First time having this, picked it up tonight. Bottled 20 days ago if I'm reading the Julian code correctly. Smells incredible.
