    Appearance: Deep reddish Amber, light cap, moderate lacing.

    Aroma: Rich malt and I would've said the same thing if blindfolded. Appearances notwithstanding this has malt, caramel and toffee up front with a hint of hops following.

    Taste: Same as aroma with a bit of roasted malt added. My past tastings showed more roasted malt bitterness but this one is subdued. Malty, roasty, toasty, slightly nutty with Just a pinch of hops.

    Texture: Medium

    Overall: A fuller, dryer flavor than what one expects from Vienna type lager. Really no sweetness that I can detect and the simple flavors present lean more toward a food than a session beer. Solidly crafted interpretation of a Vienna. I wouldn't drive out of my way to get it but don't have any criticisms worth noting.
