Really enjoying the Mexican Cupcake
Morning BA's and happy last Friday in July
Cannot quite believe it is almost August...wow...the summer is flying by!
Great to see this local Ohio brew finally getting bottled...love it!
Friday's already off to a great start.
Taking a much needed sanity day away from the office. Who knows what the day will hold, but starting with some breakfast and a Rocket Republic Astronut Brown...
I don't have a pic but WOOHOO! Something good happened today and I just came over to say CHEERS!
I am drinking a Southern Tier Harvest. Now I am going to sleep for 20 years.
Another long weekend and I am finishing up this 6 year old Black Barleywine. Surprised more brewer's haven't done one of these, this and Founder's Nemesis were both so tasty. Would love this style put in a barrel for 6 months and watch the magic happen. Cheers all!
Happy Friday BAs. Cheers!
Cool video I came across-Michael J Fox onstage with Coldplay about two weeks ago.
Happy Friday, advocates!
Happy Friday everyone!
Drinking this local favorite from Four Fathers and starting my weekend early. This beer was a winter release and the coffee has substantially faded. It does have a creamy feel with a lot of roast and dark chocolate going on. It reminds me of aged Breakfast Stout with a little more edge. I'm going to chill outside, listen to the birds and try to talk myself out of doing some house cleaning before out of town guests arrive later. Have a great day my virtual barflies!
very good! for those who like Myrcenary but not crazy about the heavy sweet malts, you will love this brew! Cheers!!
happy friday all! starting this day with focal and breaking in the new glass.
Sweet glass! Looks like a Teku minus the stem and base.
thanks! i've never seen one like it, at the alchemist they call it an aroma glass which makes sense. i agree though, it looks like the top of a teku.
Holy crap!!!!!! I'm searching this out today!!! I didn't know they bottled it!!!!!! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!
Double barrel noa
I wish I could get my hands on this! It's going super fast in my area, like selling out in hours while I'm at work. I hope it gets to become a little bit more available.
Love me some HF
Getting ready for a day of cutting firewood in the Hills.
It's like a high rep day at the gym.
Heeeeeeeeeey NOW! Happy Friday, BA's! Ugh...let's get this over with (kidding). It's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!
GotD: I've seen a lot of Hefe glasses, but @stephens101 has one of the nicest in this Sierra Nevada wheat beer glass. Tapering into a pentagon at the base is definitely hardcore! Cheers and congrats!
2nd: Haven't seen the newer Rare Vos label (maybe I've been out of it a bit), but thanks @mikeinportc for showing, along side some proper glassware. She's a beaut!
3rd: @mewcow put everyone back in check, keeping it real with some cute lil mini red plastic cups. That's how it's done folks!
Honorable mention goes out to @WesMantooth for sneaking in that Berliner Kindl ceramic mug. I'm sorry @dcotom , nice stein, but I've decided those will be reserved for "awards" a little closer to O'Fest. I've got something special planned .
Cheers everyone, and I will see you all soon!
If i had to choose this or KBS, id choose this.
KBS had way more barrel influence and was smoother, creamier and more vanilla
But this is more well rounded i feel, more coffee and was honestly easier to drink because it felt lighter. I liked that this beer had more roastyness going on but you can still get the coffee and the barrel
I listened to this album in its entirety while drinking.
Rare Friday off work for me, call's for a morning beer.
Lotsa strong starts to the weekend... \m/
I'm going the W00tstout route...
Here's to a great weekend, eh?
The Stone Gargoyle apparently has powers similar to the Citra Ninja...
See him there?
Fucking replenished it!
I'll keep you posted... lol
...Stone Gargoyle rocks a bit of a Thanos-vibe, no?
Keep Cool Creek from The Front. A solid blonde ale, and paired well with a little curry.
-a rainy, hoppy start today. Workshop re-organization until the sky clears.
Mogwai -Ether, barley at 2:23
This is a real nice beer for a late Friday afternoon.
moving onto long trail summer ale, this one is so refreshing in these dog days of summer. sticking with cash today.
I have to second the glass. I gotta get down to grab one, they look perfect!
! You have been busy, and I couldn't be more jealous. Cheers!
Nowhere In Particular Batch #002 DIPA (12oz can).. cheers!
Moravia Pils - consumed in Bonn
