What beer are you drinking now? #1402

I seem to have an international theme going on thus far:

 

The same beer a drank for New Beer Sunday, Troegs Hop Knife a brew that made a great 1st impression and seems to be getting better.

 

Happy Monday, BA's! Welp, the wife is back at school officially (teacher), and it's back to me-and-the-little-one-Mondays which means the zoo, junk food, Disneyland, and how ever else I can spoil the hell out of her!. But, business still needs to be conducted, so after a very difficult verdict has been made due to the copious amounts of eye candy yesterday, it's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

GotD: I believe we I'll be seeing a lot of @BeerVikingSailor a lot considering his mention of a recent plunder. This pistol gripped Bonnsch glass takes unique to a whole new level! Cheers and congrats again, and watch out behind you @dcotom...the Viking is on you tail!
2nd: Das Booooooooot! First one I've seen coming into the season, and a proper Hofbrau post at that. Prost, @beergorrilla!
3rd: @Tripel_Threat has used this stein patiently for two days in a row (lazy Staff), and a hell of a stein it is! Who knew that lions made beer? No wonder that Bavarian stuff is so good!

Honorable mentions go out to @Prager62 for another awesome Schlitz post, and to @RMKaylor for a proper Hoegarden French jelly glass post (with a ton of other sweet glasses behind!).

Love the boot, @beergorrilla! I almost pulled the trigger on one last summer while at Bronner's in Frankenmuth, looked just like that one. I've been kicking myself ever since. If I make it up there again, I'm definitely getting one!

 

It's time to celebrate! Tasting pretty good despite being almost a year old. It actually tastes like it has winter spice, but I don't think it actually does.

2015 SMS. The coffee has faded quite a bit, leaving a nice amount of the chocolate. Typically I think this is a "hot" beer when it is fresh (which I am ok with), but some of the heat has also faded. BCBS seems to fade much more after a year. Anyway, this drinks great fresh or aged!

New Glarus Bubbler. Love drinking beer on a Monday afternoon. Fighting off every urge to think about going back to work tomorrow after six days off which included a whirlwind wedding for my daughter. So much good beer, bourbon, wine. Good times!

 

the heat wave is over here, but drinking this may summon it back....if you like a little heat in your beer this is for you.
