Stuck "in the middle of nowhere" North Carolina" and the best I can get is a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale sitting on a porch of a bed and breakfast. Not that I'm complaining. Great after a hard day at work. Sweaty day.
But I can't get my photo to upload dammit.

Love that old school bike on the can. I've had two of their beers and was not disappointed.

Love this beer (do think last years was a tad better than this years) but if you're gonna compare it to Dirty Bastard, I think it would be more fair to compare it to Backwoods Bastard.
Not 100% sure but I always thought that Dirty Bastard was/is the base beer for Backwoods. Either way Central Waters is killer with their barrel aging. Cheers.

 

Just had a Blue Moon Cinnamon Horchata. Smells just like rice pudding with cinnamon! Tastes pretty good as well

 

Ok, back home and back to work. Also time to undo the summer undoing of the shedding of pounds from spring . So, a few less beers, some better eating habits, and a little exercise are in order.



I did say less beers. This is my one homebrew, the SMaSH Centennial/Golden Promise. This was the one that was a very low final gravity and was expected (vs intended) to be a dry session IPA. A week in the fridge, and it has ended up being an okay APA, after all (still a little dry).

 

Easily one of the greatest movies ever made. Right before Ben Hurr. : )

 

I am having a new Belgian IPA from a brewery up here that makes great Belgians and tolerable IPAs. This one is somewhere in between.

Also, I am fighting imgur. Up to now, I have always chuckled when people had problems with image hosts because imgur had always treated me so well. Well, it hasn't lately. The app's fucked up. The website's fucked up. But at least I got beer in my glass, it could be worse.
