Let's get started BAs! Having lunch at Warpigs in Copenhagen with a Lazurite IPA!
Block 15 • Autumn Farmhouse
Followed swiftly by a Mickey Mountain Imperial IPA. Really tasty stuff, I love this place!
Storm should hit later today, so we will close house up and move the plants inside; but, first a decent stout (7.5%):
Have a great Tuesday!
Take care during the rough weathers!
Love getting buzzed at lunch, next up is Funeral Thirst, a dryhopped hefeweizen brewed with Black Dahlia Murder.
Good morning BAs! Thanks @JamFuel for starting today's thread! Maybe you can do it tomorrow also... Today's breakfast beer is the best thing Sam Adams has produced in a while (IMHO):
I'm not usually a fan of ambers but this one is one of two of which I'd actually buy a case or two (Or several, in the case (HA!) of Troegs Hopback Amber). Good stuff!
Working tomorrow, but going LARGGGGGE today!
Ok, I never get starstruck, but I just met Greg Koch... *Nerdgasm* drinking some Låt mig dansa till din lakritspipa (Let me dance to your licqorice pipe) by Warpigs and Swedish band Bob Hund. Awesome beer, I love this!
And next... Youreallyfuckedmeup & IMREALLY FUCKINGFURIOUS Imperial stout. Really great stuff, if you're ever in Copenhagen, go to Warpigs Brewbub!
I want it to be Friday. Tuesday should apologize for not being Friday, but like this beer it gives zero damns.
In a can. Neat!
6% alcohol. 30 IBU. One-time offering for 2016.
Damn, forgot one!
Warpigs/Alefarm Kindred Spirits
Aaaaand then... Mo 'Saic, 'MO Problem...
Happy Tuesday! Cheers!!
Having a Big Sticky Red IPA after loading up yesterday afternoon.
and now to ease the pain.....
Have a good one!
Good Morning.Ruin ten with Orange peel.
One of the coolest labels I've seen in awhile:
A tall Stoneface IPA.
Felt a little under the weather this morning, then needed to get stuff done, so a late start for me. Seems like Stone is popular on here today, so I think I will join – number two from the IPA anniversary box.
Cheers you all! I made another pizza and have big big plans this week for a couple of peaches I bought this morning. =)
^ That's Pizza with Anchovies and Olives.
I am just trying FW Oaktoberfest. it's floral and very mild. It has a bit of sulfur in the finish? That's darn mild for the oktoberfest. Very grassy and not as much spice as I thought . Has a bit of a lingering bitterness too. Not really toasty or meloanoidin, rather it's pils malt and cracker., and is terribly light a 4 or a 5 on the srm . I have 3 more. Bitterenss takes away all the light flavors. I would say the hop character was low to moderate, the malt presence was also low and not moderate. A bit of fizzy bubble makes it seem less full to the flavor. Finishes with grassy hops and a bit of floral to linger instead of breaddy malt.
Cumulus was a better representation of the style but glad to see Hailstorm taking steps forward at least..
One of the best, IMO. Cheers BA!
Yummy looking pizza!!
I will drink the other end of the spectrum of Oktoberfest bier with Ballast Point Dead Ringer!!
It's almost a heavy boozy and spicy märzen. Beautiful amber/red color. Almost drinks like a wee heavy ale married a milder German märzen and had a baby in California!
It's definitely tasty but hard to find that crisp smooth and palate caressing feel of Ayinger.
Here the color:
Choices, choices for fall 'kins....Love this season....
drinking some fresh 'the nameless' ipa from foam.
I can't decide if this one or Matthias from Haymarket is the best DIPA around these parts IMHO...I am not sure my cat can decide, either...
Gonna have to get me some Matthias, sounds like....
Indeed! Haymarket is your destiny, my friend.
Hello friends, and happy Tuesday. Back from Kern River, but more on that later. I'll do things a little different today, because it's only right to live in "the now" on this thread, then I'll acknowledge the belated Stein Club Sunday Glass of the Day Awards (or: SCotD) afterwards. Cheers!
With a big thanks to these fine fellows for keeping it going this week:
@EMH73 , @BeerVikingSailor , @dcotom , and @joe1510
Looks like I owe you all a beer! Prost!
These guys don't get as much attention from the Vermont choices as deserved on here but Burlington Beer is always coming up with clever and tasty selections. cheers
That beer looks like a gemstone with the light shining through it.
