    Good morning, BAs! Home from duty, and ready to rock! Starting off my morning with a Stone Americano Stout.

    Some (admittedly indulgent) background on the cup in that pic. This cup has been featured here before, and I know a few people here will recognize it - albeit not quite in that state. The day before deployment, I dropped my cup leaving for work. It completely shattered. Fortunately, I had another one - this one.

    Less than two weeks in (and therefore with 22 weeks to go), I dropped this one, too.

    This cup is very special to me, and I wasn't about to go down without a fight. Some superglue magic later....

    ...and it was good to go. (Well, kind of, anyway.)

    I made it the rest of deployment with it in that state. People were impressed at the dedication, patience, care, and certainly the coincidence - that of having a puzzle piece cup that has literally been pieced back together like a jigsaw puzzle.

    So there's my self-indulgent deployment story for you all. I am retiring my cup, but I am not throwing it away. You will never again see a beer in it, but it was a hell of a trooper.

    Good morning BAs! Another (unusual) sunny day here in NW PA - really weird for this time of year - Clarion's Autumn Leaf Festival is apparently in full swing - no leaf changes but also no freezing rain or snow - YEA Global warming! Today's breakfast beer:

    Spices always help clear my sinuses, hence the 2015 Dragon's Milk. But since it's still a little too hot for my wussy taste buds, some Luponic D to extinguish any fires. After all, it is "starve a fever, buy a cold another drink", right?
