Getting to crack open one I picked up at the release yesterday, and listening to one of my favorite albums.

Thank you sir. Birthday Bomb! is the perfect morning beer. Unbelievable blend of flavors that wakes the taste buds up and tells them it's going to be a fantastic day.

Hope you're finding the 4 game Sunday edition of the NFL pleasing. It's a little overcast, temps nice. Back to the go-to American Oktoberfest.

    Cheers!

EDIT: This JAX game has been fairly watchable, nice lead catch-up.

Innis & Gunn Toasted Oak IPA. This is really not much of an IPA, and it has the I&G flavor that bugs me. A sweet, almost soda like finish. I have never been impressed by these guys, and this just fuels my prejudice!

Figured I needed to participate in one of @Lingenbrau's Stein Club Sunday, even with a pathetic offering (the stein, not the beer):

One of those commemorative steins they make. This one was "handcrafted" for Anheuser Busch and Sea World (back in 1995, if I understand the copyrighting) - two institutions that have different opinions of them now then they did back then, as I recall it .

Thanks Dan for the in person trade. This is the best pale ale ive ever had up until now. Aggressive but balanced bitterness. So much peach. Kiwi, pineapple. SO much peach. @TheIPAHunter. Im going to tag you here because we all know your feelings about Nelson hops and now i can say, i understand. I loved this beer.

    Weyerbacher IPA #2

I liked the #1. But this #2 i like more. Its simcoe and denali hops. Tropical but not sweet. Moderate pine Hard hop bite but smooth end keeps it very drinkable. Look forward to #3. They are releasing these quarterly.
    Cheers.

Madball is my favorite band, but this cover is better than the original i swear

:grinning: 5k's in Denver are a bit more challenging than 5k's in Indiana. A hundred years ago, when my body cooperated and I was a runner....I mean real runner, not this shambling, stumbling, shuffling routine I try to pass off as running today....I relocated from Puerto Rico to Cheyenne, which is approximately 1000' higher than Denver IIRC, and it took me a few weeks to acclimate to the increased altitude. Headaches and nosebleeds accompanied the transition. Cheers and congrats!
