Not worth figuring out as the light from the flash doesn't provide much help!

Played golf this morning, hopefully not for the last time. It was a crisp 43 degrees when I played.
I went to When Pigs Fly for some lunch and had a couple Epiphany; always enjoyable.

Now home with the dogs while Mrs Wiens works, and enjoying this nice DIPA.

    Happy Wednesday to all!

Honestly gotta say I'm disappointed. :slight_frown: maybe serving it colder (than 45 degrees) would have prevented some of the undesireable flavors here.

A man with no nose could smell this beer from five feet away. As @bowzer4birdie said, it may be dreary outside in the land of Cubdom, but there's a pleasant haze inside.

And I was kind of thinking the same thing about the video in my first post, @LeRose. Interesting version, though.

Happy Hump Day BA'S! Going to keep this short today, but gonna pander the usual upcoming events: GotD #100 on Friday :grimacing:!, the FINAL Stein Club Sunday this weekend, and... Monday Night "Glass"acre for Halloween :grinning: (the Spookiest of ware you can summon)! Right!...time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

    GotD:
New IPA glass styles seem to be coming out by the minute these days, but this Hourglass shaped beauty really caught the eyes of the Staff. Cheers and congrats to @BWood !
2nd: It's been really nice to see @Wasatch 's record player all this time , but love seeing the beer posts now! This Kaizer Karel chalice has been on the radar lately, but is finally getting the recognition it deserves!
3rd: The Stange. Simple, striking, and classic. This Kostritzer glass from @BeerForMuscle is even a step better with its pillared base (is pillared the right word ?).

A Special Honorable Mention goes out to @WesMantooth for his dedication to science, painstaking long hours of experiments , and overall groundbreaking contribution as a result of taking it upon himself to solve what will for ever be known as "The Yesterday's Haze Effect". We are all in debt to your efforts good Sir! :grinning:
Cheers everyone, and I will see you all soon!

    GotD.

I'm not sure if I'm everybody or their mother? I could be either depending on who you ask? A very quick shot with Payton and Bailey before the pup on the right gets too curious. Miss Payton seems to be feeling better, but more tests results are coming. Keeping fingers crossed for some positive news!

Polarizing? Well, I didn't get all excited about it but it wasn't a drain pour anyway. Too much stuff added IMHO, but the peppers weren't overpowering and that's a good thing. I found it neither great nor terrible, just another average milk stout. Definitely not worth what I paid, considering the shipping costs. My next beer (after the two Xocovezas) is currently being quaffed - Victory HopDevil. And this one is definitely to my taste!

While I didn't find the peppers overpowering, I do believe it's a little 'hotter' than last year's batch. Another average milk stout? Palates are a very interesting subject. Cheers to Victory, I'm patiently awaiting their wet hop ale!
