    Good morning and Happy Saturday BA's. Thanks again everybody for the support yesterday, and more importantly, really bringing your "A Game!" Sheesh...the Staff had a hard time keeping up with all the awesomeness floating around here! Which brings us to the start of the next centennial. It's time for the Glass of the Day Awards! But first a quick reminder :wink:: Stein Club Sunday Grand Finale TOMORROW!, and the Monday Night "Glass"acre is on Halloween!:grinning:

    GotD: Once in a blue moon will you find proper and inappropriate walking hand in hand. Well that blue moon glowed last night for us thanks to @kuhndog 's voluptuous glass to go with 'Little Sumpin' Sumpin :grimacing:. Well done! Cheers and congrats!
    2nd: To the man with a plan, and all the right glasses, @dcotom for perhaps the most elegant gold rimmed and detailed stemmed flute this bar has seen. I have to visit this thrift store :wink:
    3rd: @cryptichead got the memo. #ShamelessPandering does work, but you had no need to bother, because this perfectly paired, unique and beautiful Pilsner Urquell glass speaks for itself!

    Extra Generous Honorable Mentions got out to @BeerVikingSailor for a picture perfect Ballantine post (which looks like a vintage glass, right?:astonished:), @CanConPhilly for the Double Barrel can glass, and to @911CROFT for that beautiful de Garre tub of a tulip.

    Good morning, all! I found out from one of my cousins a while back that our grandmother was Irish. I haven't done much research into my family tree, but I did stumble upon this mug in a dusty little thrift shop the other day. If the saying is true, I may be genetically predisposed to sobriety. Of course, this will require a much more thoroughgoing investigation. Where to begin...?

    My Saturday morning ritual. Noon is but a number. Beautiful mild autumn day in rural Pa. Early winter on its way... gotta enjoy it while I still can!

    Just now getting started after last night's festivities. I watched the entire World Series game and drank way too much. Woke up at 2 a.m. to dry heave and vomit for the first time in 6 years. I'm pretty sure that bean burrito I ate from the local supermarket deli had something to do with it. Feels like food poisoning but who knows. I still feel like crap.

    I'd be lying if I said that I haven't been working on an acceptance speech in my head since yesterday . . .

    I am honored and humbled to be selected by the Staff for this prestigious and coveted award. This Pilsner Urquell glass is a prized possession that I obtained over a decade ago. I used to have a substantial collection, but sadly I had to get rid of around 20 pieces in the last move and this is one of the few glasses I kept. @Lingenbrau much appreciate the award and your efforts in keeping this going. :grinning::grinning::slight_smile::slight_smile:
