    Another pumpkin beer albeit with a year of age as it was bottled 10.19.15. I saw the regular version this year, but I don't think there was a barrel aged release? The once prominent spices have now mellowed revealing a very pleasing barrel flavor with wonderful oak in the finish. I definitely prefer it more after a year and I'm hoping there's at least one more stashed away.

    Wife took the day off, so it was a one and done for me til the evening. Plus all that nervous energy from the Cubs game kept me up til the late hours.

    LOL You are looking at the debut of my terribly old roku player that I hooked up to my new fangled tv today to watch horror movies for halloween. Success. =) That's Charade with Cary Grant, it's scariest moment for Halloween. And now I am watching Christopher Lee in Horror Express. . . with that.

    Aaaahh! I'ts alive ....! I'ts alive ....! A Hertog Jan Weizener!
    A wheat beer, that's in short can be described as a combination of German Weizen and Belgian Witbier. Interesting, but to my taste a Frankenstein I'm afraid.

    A gentle and refreshing monster however.
