These fellas have immense potential, amongst my top favorite 2016 new breweries = taking advantage of it now before the storm strikes…Jeff is cool as hell, and knows what he’s doing

I concur. They are definitely going places. Hell, they have already had a couple of days here and there where they ran completely out of beer. That tells you all you need to know about the following they are generating.

I am going to violate the now, but I finally made it to New Glarus and it was worth the trip, kids. Amazing location first of all and a gorgeous outdoor area that must be spectacular in the summer. Self guided walk thru a state of the art brewing and packaging facility that is eat off the floor clean. Mentally counting the millions and more than enough shiny stainless to melt my butter.

Two Women...wonderful beer, loved it, a little sweet and nicely balanced bitter. Apple beer...not usually a huge fan but this one was delicious, nice fresh apple, slightly tart. Belgian Red...not what I remember. Very heavy cherry and overly sweet, kind of a chore to drink the three ounces, but one must carry on.

CHeers, folks...waiting for the flight home...

Wrapping up this 4-pack of Yacht with another miserable picture. I've got to say that I've had a lot of the hoppy lagers that have proliferated in the past few years...this, Carton Sit Down Son, a whole ton of Jack's Abby stuff, etc and a little piece of me always wonders whether I should just be drinking a Prima Pils.

Like, this is a fine enough beer, but the idea that it's some poster child for "hey, "lagers can be cool!" is such an eye roll.

Thanks to @TongoRad for this. He recognizes my appreciation for Oktoberfests.

Sly Fox/Oktoberfest. I pulled the lights out of the attic to give it the Oktoberfest treatment.

The mouth feel on this is wonderful. Perhaps the closest a domestic beer has gotten to the imports.
Waiting on my Minestrone to go with the Syracuse game later...if I get it here.

For now, listening to Achtung Baby. Realeased 25 years ago today. This was crazy when it came out. Cheers, all, and thanks again @TongoRad!

Drinking an Alpine Pure Hoppiness because @TheIPAHunter was raving about it so much yesterday. I'm glad I took his word for it...this is vastly superior to what I remember it tasting like last year.

    Cheers!

Edit: One six pack of this isn't going to be enough.

Early day so got to get in another jog/walk. Today a train came by as I hit the tracks (also a random shot of a recently fallen tree):

And of course, a post walk beer is in order:
