After breakfast, and sipping on the 5beans from the Puff glass...

 

5.2% alcohol. 42 IBU. Reformulated for 2016. Brewed in Georgia.

Pretty good, but if I get another, I would wait on it. Tasting pretty hot right now.

 

Figured, why the hell not? Tasting great.

 

Nice job getting us started! I was getting tired of that "other guy" from Illinois always starting it.

 

Yeah, that guy is so boring....hey, wait a minute!

 

Had myself a nice 3 day weekend, spent laying in bed with a stomach virus, or food poisoning, or something. Fortunately feeling better now, although still not 100%. Hey, at least I'm off work before noon, eh?

A Chimay Triple. The most hoppy Chimay around and probably the most hoppy Trappist (the last I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong).
This Chimay is best enjoyed when it's young, although you should not confuse this for a fresh hoppy beer. Good thing is that it stays young for a long time.

A beer that always puts me in a festive mood as I hang more lights outside on this cool and damp late morning. After drinking quite a few of these, I'll agree what some have said about the heavy cinnamon this year. That sure won't stop me from drinking the shelves dry around here! Have yourself a fine day.....
