Starting off the weekend. We are only on page 4? I did not check the news. Did I miss Armageddon?
For those still with us, this is fantastic. So much flavor in this Biere de Garde. I need to check out more by Jolly Pumkin. This my 7th beer from them and my favorite. Hamajang was also excellent.

I found out today that Shelton Brothers is bringing The Bruery to Missouri on Monday. They also distribute Prairie Artisian Ales, Crooked Stave, and Cantillon here. Their delivery days are now more insane for this wild ale fanatic!

The Cure are wrapping up their world tour at Wembley this weekend. Your debut of this song last night. They don't play it live much anymore as some don't realize it is based on the story "The Stranger" by Albert Camus. It can easily be misinterpreted:

(Eye exam today. Got the drops x 2.) Things are a tad fuzzy, but not that fuzzy. : )

Not getting any onion/garlic. Getting grapefruit/fruity/floral, with maybe a hint of pine, but that could be Christmas tree scent on me. Also a hint of booze as it warms. Difference? Maybe the flavors are more to the surface/ less depth/jamminess? Whatever it is , I like it. : )

Delivered Thing 2 to basketball practice and now home. My wife is currently at Karate with Thing 1 and not home right now. The sixer followed me home. ( @goingbrokeonbeer ) My wife has her favorite glass / sacred Stone Levitation glass that no one is allowed to drink from but her. ............... Are You thinking what I'm thinking????

Happy Friday ba. A week late on this namesake but I'm starting with a big ass bottle of long ireland balck friday imperial stout. One of the better beers these guys make, inho, which may not be saying much at all. A tad thin on the body but pretty nice roasted malt and chocolate tones. Vintage 2016,

 

A salute to my fellow Cigar City Maduro addicts. You fine folks have good taste, at least when it comes to brown ales.
