Magic Rock/ Cigar City: Wayniac
Big pine, orange and weed in this one. Loads of sediment too.
Yo BA's. Let's get the holiday groove on! I'll have two beers. and then one more.
Gonna make some stock.
Brouwerij St. Bernardus • Christmas Ale
Day off and a million things to do, need plenty of coffee this morning. Cheers
Good morning BAs! While the first load of laundry runs, another from my stash:
Down to my last bottle of this - found six in Saginaw over a year ago - SCORE! Undated of course but at least three years old. Still one of my favorites.
Drinking Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome
A day late and a dollar short
That's what I like - some crab. I'll take crab over lobster any day. Not really a lobster fan. And what will we be concocting with this fine crab stock?
Lobster can be sweet, it depends on where it's from. Crab is sweet. I like the crab legs. I made a nice salad before I finish my stock. Cheers! And I drank almost all of these. Gone they are gone.
The Mrs' last day before break, so this might be my last early morning beer for a while. Figured I'd go with the usual.
That looks delicious. Enjoy!
Rise and shine, it's breakfast time!
Today we'll head downtown Charleston. Mrs. Z wants to shop, and I want to get a tasty beer or 2 on tap at the usual suspects - a good day for everyone - Cheers!
Drinking SN Celebration Ale dated 11/23/16
Listening to Jethro Tull - Songs from the Wood
A second cup of Joe in the snow. Getting motivated now.
Good morning, BAs! Grabbing a morning Victory at Sea to go with breakfast.
Harviestoun: Old Engine Oil
The beginning of an extended staycation. Off until Jan. 3rd. I'm glad I have a job, because I'd probably be an alcoholic if not.
Loos like Weihenstephaner is popular today.
Utopia Jane, have you ever had the Weihenstephaner Pils? I am drinking that, right now!
6% alcohol. Brewed in England.
Juicy as fu**
My kind of holiday spirit!
German Chocolate cake Milkshake Stout - loads of coconut in this variant...delicious
Good tasty morning. Love it when breakfast is at 10:30 and I can still be in my pjs.
Wow; how is that beauty drinking?
I still haven't grown tired of this cinnamon spiced liquid dessert. It's going to wash down a few more of these cookies that my neighbors wife baked. A token of appreciation for plowing their snow after his surgery. After tasting them, I'd say I owe him a few more snows!
Rasputin from De Molen. Nice local craft beer
Flying down to South Florida later this evening to visit my kids for Christmas. Since I've got a dry evening ahead, I may as well have a wet morning.
That looks great. Nice work.
Starting with a favorite.
I LOVE Original Premium
Good morning/afternoon BAs,
Other Half Double Dry Hopped Forever Simcoe and it is spot on. Enjoying this one a lot.
Cheers and Happy Holidays BAs
Buxton/Omnipollo Yellow Belly without it's ridiculous white hood. The beer is fantastic despite their choices for artwork.
My favorite new to me beer of 2016. Love that stuff! Have two left that will be consumed over the holiday weekend.
Love blackberries. Love IPAs. Love this beer
Resin is a sadly overlooked brew; very old school DIPA, too. It isn't fruity, it isn't even particularly dank, and it has a huge malt presence that is nearly jarring once you're used to modern IPAs. I absolutely love it.
Love this. Complex and tasty.
Dropped the girlfriend and baby off at her work party so she can show the little one off to all her friends, which gives me a couple hours to float around Ghent in Norfolk, my old stomping grounds when I was a bachelor.
Hit Cogans for a slice and some Hardywood BBA Raspberry Stout w/ vanilla beans. 2015 vintage. Masterful beer. If you guys haven't heard of Hardywood yet, hunt it down. As much as it pains me to say it, since they are from Richmond, they're far and away the best VA brewed beers I've had. This is drinking amazing with a year on it, I had it fresh last year and thought it was great but a little boozy. Perfectly balanced now.
