This was my go-to drink in college. Never cared for the "light" stuff.

Fan of either? Say what you will, that was a fun game to watch. All over the place!

Outstanding porter. Flavors of big milk chocolate, cocoa, peanut butter, caramel, toffee, toasted brown bread, and light herbal hops. Light herbal hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; nice moderately creamy/silky mouthfeel; slight chalkiness from the PB and roast malts. A touch drying. Great classic porter flavors with a lot of PB presence. Really love it, I hope we get DuClaw in MI someday. But until then, I will be grabbing this or For Pete's Sake again in Ohio next time I am down there. Both are definitely my top favorites for PB beers.

Always excellent IPA, one of my classic favorites. Flavors of bright grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, and spicy/floral hops; with light caramel/bready malt balance. Moderate pine/rind/grassy bitterness. Smooth, crisp, and sticky hop mouthfeel; with light grainy malt creaminess. Drying, lightly resinous finish. Great Cascade/Centennial/Willamette hop complexity all around. Definitely my most bought Lagunitas beer of all time. Been buying this as singles more often now, when I can find a good date code. It still holds up well with a few months on it too.

Awesome batch this year. Flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, fudge, toasted dark bread, spicy rye, light smoke/char, and light dark fruits; with moderate herbal/earthy hop presence. Moderate roast/char and herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied creamy/silky mouthfeel; with a fair amount of sticky/chalky roast/hop notes, and light-moderate increasing roast/char dryness. Very rich and flavorful for 8.4%. This feels more toned down on the hops this year, though still pretty hoppy. It doesn't overwhelm the big rich malt and cocoa flavors, but still provides dryness similar to what I would expect in a Russian Imperial Stout. Definitely will grab this again.

Last bottle for now, hopefully it comes back next year; it's not on the 2017 calendar. Still tasting awesome. Huge bright flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, coconut, citrus rind, pepper, and pine hops; with some light caramel/bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine/rind/peppery bitterness; very sticky/resinous/rindy and dry finish; some light grainy creaminess in the mouthfeel. A bit of lingering resinous hop astringency, but still very drinkable. Super dank and aggressive.

Ahhhhhhhh! Dammit, I am disappointed in bowzer's inability to procure one of these over the holidays. That WILL change soon enough, though!

Haha-maybe had you thrown me a "like", I'd have realized you read it and not looked like an idiot here . I don't need help with that, anyhow .

(Not that I'm just fishing for "likes")

(I mean, I am, but there's a dual purpose here :flushed:)

Another new local brewery making good beer. Not quite the "juice-bomb" I was expecting, still good though. Cheers!
