    A pour of barrel aged Lost Weekend Rye Barleywine at Blue Island Brewing Company. On the sweeter side, but very smooth with solid vanilla and oak in the taste. This place has been on my list to visit and they made it worth my while. Happy Saturday gang!

    Oh shit, my dudes, it's all going down right now.
    My first batch ever. I'm 'bout to steep these grains and boil these hops and pitch this yeast. I'm nervous as hell. I've sanitized everything. (Although the shower in B-Brite was a little over the top). Trying to take Charlie Papazian' s advice to "Relax. Don't worry. Have a homebrew!"

    Wow this is world class!
    I knew it would be a solid and great IPA, but this totally exceeded my expectations!
    Easily one of the best IPA's I've ever had!
    Founders hit a grand slam on this one! I am so glad they are finally here in WA :slight_smile:
