Ah yes, that hits the spot. Gearing up for some hockey soon

 

Bitter sweet as it is my last.

 

Tired Hands Mago Tago with a 3-cheese panini. Pretty much in heaven right now. I never want to leave this place.

 

I don't see a lot of their beers, but do enjoy the 113 from time to time. I like how it's mostly English style with a bit of an American twist on it- it doesn't seem to get a lot of love on here, though.

So- what's the deal with that one? What style are they going for?

 

Starting with a Sucks with dinner.

I just had my parents bring me a six pack of Jai Alai from Florida, how do you keep the yeast in the bottom of the can from getting in your glass? (So much easier in a bottle)

 

This is a tasty Pale Ale with a touch of Rye. Same yeast as Two Hearted. Much better than their regular PA.

 

Fat Head's Head Hunter

 

They're calling it a IIPA, but there really isn't any pleasant characteristics from the hops. Some cat pee,biscuity aroma, slightly medicinal qualities to it. Very odd. Well within best by date too.

 

The Sucks didn't make it all the way thru dinner. Now on to Nugget Nectar.

It's so DAMN good! I can't believe I'm trading 2 of the 4 growlers away... I can't do it, can't give these up!

 

Sly Fox used to to have their IPA Project, in which Brian brewed a different single hop IPA each month. Then for their anniversary party, Odyssey was the IPA brewed with all the hop varieties used that year. That's the history, but I don't know how the beer is conceived any more.

 

Sickness, sickness, go away! Jeeper needs an IPA!!! Have fun everybody. Hope to be drinkin' with y'all real soon! Cheers!

 

Got a homebrew Pale Wheat Ale with Centennial and Riwaka hops. Probably my Roggenbier next.

Too bad about that, they definitely make some good stuff, but thanks for the heads-up.

 

Finally decided to pry the lid off of this one tonight. I don't really get a lot of the barrel out of this one, that aside though, this is a solid stout.
