You know how sometimes you drink a lot of hoppy beer, and you're like well maybe I should take a break and let my palate recover and you're like but that sucks and then you're like yeah but it seems like the right thing to do and you're like BURN IN HELL and you're like [shaming glare] and then you're like ugh okay FINE.

But then you grab a really, really good, high-value craft lager like one of these cans of Jack's Abby Saxony Lager. And all is well. (?)

So, that's what I'm having right now. And I'm beyond excited to watch the first episode of the new My Brother, My Brother, and Me (MbMbaM) show on Seeso.

I love those good good boys. And I love you. Saude, galera.

 

Tasty, a little bit hot cause it's about a month old and the bourbon still has a strong presence. Want to let it warm up a bit more.

I tend to have had the luck of @lester619 with my oldest car. Oil light comes on - and oil isn't really something to ignore - but my engine temp never really rises above normal. I just throw in an extra quart of oil once in a while and move on down the road, so to speak

(note: then again, thinking of it, I have thrown enough money into this thing for various reasons to make me holding onto it an interesting internal debate, regardless)

Can't wait to hit the brewery again this weekend. I wish they would up their distro in Maine again though. Used to buy Hoponius and Smoke and Dagger when they bottled in the MBC style bottles. Craving some Maibock Hurts like Helles and 3x dry hopped Hoponious.

Yeah. I'm lucky they distribute in upstate NY. I've never visited the brewery though, is it a good visit?

 

That was my ring tone for a while back in the day.

 

The new brewery is nice, big space, fast service, can check out the barrel room and stuff, and some decent German food. House made brats are primo. And excellent brewery only beers to boot. The Cordon Rouge Framinghammer variant is spectacular if it's on if you visit.

 

I encourage it, and will await your thoughts (give me a tag) if/when you try it.

(also, be remiss if not to ask to throw your thoughts in a review of the beer for others to learn from - PSA done )
