What beer are you drinking now? #1599

5.3% it's not a wit like the site says. This is definitely a hefeweizen. And a dam good one believe me or not. Huge bubblegum and tutti fruiti. The wheat is fluffy, soft and slightly funky and tart. Banana esters. Slight alcohol esters. This stuff is very good. And I feel that guinness yeast helps the taste. Highly recommended if you like wheat beers. Cheers

Having a Bertinchamps Blonde. It's a traditional old style Belgium beer, pure malt and hops, without spices or additives.

7.3% abv; I want to say Citra and Simcoe hops but I'm not 100% sure...

Soft and fruity, with citrus and maybe something like melon; mild bitterness...

Having a Lupulus blonde. Or two I think; this bottle is rather large.
It's a tripple beer from the Ardennes region in Belgium. Not filtered and un-pasteurized. Large amounts of hops in it. Very good!

My Cerise is popped for American Solera.

Heard great things about this one, particularly from Darwin and Joe on YT.

On the nose, it does have a cherry pie note with bright cherries and a little dash of cinnamon goodness. Upon drinking, you get that medium tartness, followed by oak, enveloped in cherry. Finishes very clean and pleasing. In fact, probably the cleanest finish on any sour I've ever had. Mouthfeel is pretty effervescent, as the picture reveals. My wife compared it to champagne.

Glad that RateBeer Fest brought these bottles our way.

This might be the most perfectly balanced sour I've ever had. I really enjoyed it. Cheers, everyone!
