    So I had FBS for breakfast, then went out all day as a ham and some wings smoked in my big green egg. Came home to a left hand milk stout, a Berkshire Brewing coffeehouse porter, Allagash black, a moo hoo, and some awesome BBQ. The end of three days off, think its time to open one of these KBS. sometimes, it's good to be the king...

    I would generally agree with this statement too. I'd don't have loads and loads of experience with DH, but I can say that I loved (like, in a major way) one IPA of theirs, Ollirama, done as a one-off, hopped only with Amarillo. THAT was as good as their dark stuff. They should do that again.

    Alchemy Hour! I think this is my favorite DIPA. And earlier I stopped in at Nellie's for another Aecht Schlenkerla Eiche.

    Actually, these were my results.

    1. Founders Breakfast stout
    2. New Glarus Coffee Stout
    3. Bell's Java Stout

    I actually thought NG Coffee might take first, but FBS beat it out. The last three bottles I had of this FBS four pack didn't really impress me, but I think drinking it side-by-side with the other two helped, as the chocolate made it stand out and the higher-ABV gave it a thicker, richer mouth feel. Like I said, I love doing this. Kind of wish I would've waited and done it with more beers and a couple friends.

    No pictures, but just had Jack's Abby BA Framinghammer. Freaking delicious. If you gave it to me and called it a BA doppelbock I'm not sure I'd argue with you. This brewery can do no wrong. Almost makes me wish I'd taken that apartment in Framingham...
