Same here, dude. After I fully mend it's time to get back into the grind.

 

This is legitimately one of the greatest beers that I've ever had. It's instantly a top three all time IPA for me along with Tree House Haze & Green. Wow!

 

Good morning BAs! Back from the beer wilderness of the Sheraton Station Square (PGH) where I kicked their Fathead's HopJuJu keg. Today's New Breakfast Beer is:



A little sweet but still quite pleasant... really quite nice.

Sitting on the deck of the cabin on our last day of vacation enjoying one of the fruits of our trip to OH. Halfway home and the weather is awesome this AM, too bad the gnats think so, too.


A very solid, classic citrus/grapefruit IPA that isn't too juicy or too bitter. Couldn't find Bodhi on the way out of town , but this is a fine consolation prize, I feel, even at a whopping 33 days old .

 

A bit...early for me, especially with this bad boy. But my first draft is done, printed, and my wife has to suffer through it for a few days (almost 400pp!) so I have a bit of a respite from wrestling with that beast of a book for a while. Phew! Will probably take today easy, off, and in recovery... a better Monday than I usually have... cheers!

2017 - nice way to start my day...

 

Aren't vacations that lead to a short upcoming work week grand? I think so, two half weeks versus one fully off works for me. Then again, lots of breweries are closed Mon/Tues, good recovery days .

Apparently there are cities we missed in OH, like Cleveland (came close), and Cincinnati, home of the brewer of this beer:


Another classic version of a style. At 7.3%, this is at the upper end of IPAs these days. Guessing it's not gonna blow people away, but it is a fairly balanced beginning, bitter-dry ending beer.

Side note: glad iPhone now autocorrects "IPAs" to what I meant versus thinking I mistyped iPad.

 

I've looked to no success-when and where is the next BAAA mtg. ?
