Drinking on this while packing for a trip. Excellent beer from @vabeerguy I think I will owe him my soul!!!

Cold windy upper 40's....in May...tired of this shitty weather

Been productive though....made a new shelving unit for glassware, and bought some new unbleached cotton for the new sail for my sailing canoe project boat...despite the weather!



you don't even want to know how many glasses I have....jeez

 

This is the face I make when groggy going for a skinny vanilla latte for the wife and find this in my fridge. cheers!

How is that beer? It always seems to allude me I've had Briney and the Kimmie one but not that one.

Three Heads Brewing - Confiscator

Again, I am greatly impressed by everyone's discipline and devotion to the cause - especially in the recording of the passion - I am reminded of the old adage, "...If you can't do it fanatically, it's not worth doing..."

That being said, here is my review:

look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

Aggressive pour into a generic Hefe glass - resulted in a tightly packed off white head which dissipated to a 1/4" ring.

On the eyes, a nice clear brown color with a large amount of small bubble emanating from nucleation sites etched in the bottom of the glass.

On the nose, nothing much, but maybe a slight hint of malt and smoke.

Up front, definite smokiness which is carried through the middle and back (surprising and nice for a change!) along with a hint of malt and no evidence of the 7% abv.

This is a very nice alternative to other lagers - it is refreshing and satisfying.

Will definitely seek out and purchase.

I feel your "pane" in the glass - a very impressive collection!

 

Really enjoyed it. I could put a good dent in a sixer in an afternoon of yard work. Refreshing and crushable. With the botanicals you really get the essence of a fizzy gin & tonic.

 

Happy Saturday ba. Getting ready for a nice little evening of binge watching sports, lounging around, and drinking brews. Starting light with blackrocks classic pilsner thanks to @foundersasap. Pretty spot on for the style and very nice drinking. Great balance with full flavor that stays crisp and refreshing. Makes me want to buy more lagers.

 

Dang! Had I known, I coulda brought you one. Then again, they way I split things up, @LeperJim would've gotten it.
