Dropped into Costco with the fam and picked up the Kirkland Craft beer 2-4. Made in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and $0.83 per bottle. What could go wrong?
First up, the Kirkland Brown Ale paired with Cubs vs Yanks.

This beer hits all the right buttons for me, but I love Sorachi Ace Hops. Thank you so much @cjgiant this beer is so unique tasting it's just a breath of fresh air. Steady Eddie from Union Brewing

Moderate pour yields a 1 and a 1/2 inch white head over a medium amber body with very nice lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, tropical fruit, and tropical fruit. Taste follows the nose with some orange pith, a medium bitterness, and a nice crisp, dry finish. Nice mouthfeel and overall this is one of my faves from Hinesburg, VT.

Haha! I totally forgot I brought that one along. I look forward to it each year (made for the baseball season, I think it might even be sold at Camden Yards, but don't quote me on that), for the same reason you seem to enjoy it - it's a refreshingly different beer. That and I like Sorachi as well.

And if you love Sorachi Ace, wish I could've gotten you some of last year's. One of the MD BAs (sorry, I forget which one, exactly) agreed with me when I mentioned I thought the Sorachi was more restrained this year.

 

I need to get you Marshall Wharf's Acehole a pale ale brewed with Sorachi Ace and Citra.

 

Haha - take the first two hops I first recognized as varieties I liked in beers and put them together... what could go wrong??
