    Agreed...I love that beer! Doesn't hurt that the brewery is 15 minutes from my house either :stuck_out_tongue:.

    This has the best nose of anything I've drank recently, which is saying a lot. SingleCut held that position just a week ago. Damn, these IPAs are relentless.

    How is it?
    Just the mention or picture of hibiscus conjures up sensations of tropical "lush&lovely"ness :slight_smile:, but does it deliver?

    I'm more of a Stout guy but this is quite good imo. I'm getting tropical and piney notes and a strong malt backbone, everything i dig in a DIPA.

    I've lived here (upstate NY) all my life, & still have to get adjusted every year. October's "miserable" is January's "balmy". :grinning:

    This is a very tasty NE Style IPA. I'm digging the uniqueness of the New Zealand hop- including Mouteka-Very good and my first from this brewery.

    Whenever I have some less than a month I throw it in as extra too, along with Marsh Island Pulp Truck IPA. I think Daikaiju is my second highest rated Maine IPA behind Epiphany.

    From a friend who's not an IPA fan, but liked this.
    No visible dating, but guessing it's old-ish.(She wasn't real aware of the hop/age relationship, but given her flavor preferences, probably a good thing. :grinning:) Not quite Hop Rod Rye, but still good. I'd like to try it when I know it's fresh. :slight_smile:
