Good afternoon, all! I was out running errands this morning and decided on a whim to stop at the Salvation Army thrift store to see if they had anything new. Well, they did. This quaint little half-litre boot was sitting on the 50-cent glassware shelf. The only problem was finding something suitable to put into it. While rummaging around in the fridge this afternoon, I found a Clown Shoes Chocolate Sombrero. Problem solved!

Earlier, I was down on the Milwaukee River having a few beers with lunch ( Jager Schnitzel at Marder's ). Cell phone reception was shitty. Been listing to a lot of old school soul on the satelitte radio up here.

This is apparently a Euro pale lager because it is all malt. I can believe as their is no corn or rice aftertaste. It does come off a bit sweet anyhow and hop presence is either diminished due to age (unknown), or non existent in the first place. I personally wouldn't and won't have a problem finishing this beer, but I imagine many with less of a sweettooth than I do will struggle with it.

 

Finally had the opportunity to take a sojourn up to The Alchemist's beautiful and (relatively) new location in Stowe, VT:


Since it has been a few years since I last had one...Yep, I'm Ready For A Heady!

Much more "dank" than I remember (it seemed to have a much more present orange citrus component in the aroma). I don't doubt my palate has changed but this is pure 'liquid cannabis'...uber fresh and delicious!
