A Zwickl Naturbelassenes Kellerbier from Theodor König Brauwerke. This is good beer! I'll buy it again when I see it.
    Cheers!

Theodor König introduced some new brewing techniques in Germany (in the 1850's that was). And I suspect he was one of the hipster founding fathers :grinning:

    Friends
    Starting with another new beer.
Foundation Cosmic Bloom. Very nice 5.7%, almost a session beer. Very decent flavor.
Not sure it impressed me as much as Prototype 4.
@lordofthewiens yes sir, I own and have read the emperor of maladies. He's got the gift surely.
I am with you on the jealousy part. Especially when someone from our profession goes on to pen their thoughts so beautifully.
    Cheers.

Home from class, 4 tests today... this week is straight exam week, so going to spending all night studying and take a peek at Game 5 and see if it's worth watching. Re-watching game 4 now since I missed most of it.

New summer special release by Creature Comforts - Tritonia, their gose, with cucumber and lime added. It's definitely refreshing, but more so right out the fridge. Cold it tastes like those Lime Pepino Gatorades I love. On my second can I let it warm up a bit and the cucumber combined with the usual sourness borders on a pickle juice flavor. The lime keeps it from crossing that line. Which inherently isn't too bad!

    Cheers everyone.

Very refreshing choice for the hottest :slight_frown: day of the year (so far!) and the best ginger beer I've ever had!

One of my favorite breweries, intense citrus flavor and bittersweet. First time trying this one and its okay, unique flavor for sure!

Looks like a typical slow Monday here. It's my day to chill so I'll anchor the bar and move from the now sunny patio to the shady front porch and the comfy glider. A slightly hoppy, crisp and clean pils from 18th Street that was supposed to be a NBS entry. So many beers, so little time. Good is good regardless of the day!
