Good morning BAs! Thanks @JamFuel for starting us off. Today's New Breakfast Beer is from @WesMantooth and is delicious! Thanks Corey!

 

My favorite so far in the variety. I've only ever had tree house green but this reminds me of that in a way. The fluffiest feel I've experienced is from tree house and an ipa with all the hops but no assertive bitterness.


Another enjoyable one. I immediately thought of Stone in my mind reading the label. It's similar. More assertive. A bit drier. Much more citrus than tropical.


And my favorite hefe. Neshaminy Creek Highwater Hefeweize . I'd say the authentic Bavaria wheat beer on the label is correct. If you had your eyes closed you'd think it was an import. I remember the beer being darker orange when it was in 22oz bottles. It's still my favorite but anybody have info on a possible recipe change? Last year even i feel it was darker in color.

Celebrating my 40th birthday! Having 1 breakfast beer then heading out on my birthday road trip. My wife asked me a while ago if I would like to travel somewhere special for my 40th. I told her I know the perfect place. She asked where? Las Vegas, Miami, New Orleans? I told her... Decorah, Iowa!!!

The alcohol is masked well, as is the malt base and any sweetness, by the bitterness. It's very good for a hoppy beer, not so much for a Barleywine style...Happy Friday!

Good morning, all! A sunny summer day here in the Cedar Valley, perfect for this hoppy amber ale: Modern Times Blazing World. A "pleasantly dry" beer for a pleasantly dry day. (So far.)


I was greeted by this scene upon arriving at work yesterday morning. Two days into summer and two days of thunderstorms already. No tornadoes so far, though.
