Sup BAs? Life is getting a bit busier and I am becoming a more occasional poster, but I still like yall guys and will happily stop by every now and then with a special brew.

It's lunch time and I am drinking Mort Subite Blonde Lambic. A Belgian obviously.

    Cheers and happy Sunday.

Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Even with the holiday weekend, I will still proceed with my normal bottle returns and laundry for the day. May even do a few hours of work. I got assigned to clean up an engineering database for a vehicle program that was completely messed up, after I handed it off to a new person late last year. It's been pretty intense work, but it is getting closer to being finished.

    Beer this morning:

Awesome DIPA. Flavors of big guava, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate cracker, lightly toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied/carbonation. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light resins/rinds and increasing dryness, minimal hop astringency. Very drinkable, minimal warming ABV. Absolutely spot on as expected of Clown Shoes. Super vibrant and dank hops; with nice guava fruit presence, and solid malt backbone without being sweet/heavy. Doesn't go overboard on the fruit. Will gladly pick this up again.

Awesome Red DIPA again this year. Flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate caramel, toasted bread, and light roasted malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness. Medium-full bodied; balanced creaminess and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. No hop astringency. Light-moderate increasing resinous dryness. Very smooth, minimal warming ABV. The malt character feels more pronounced than it was in the original 750 batch. More caramel and creaminess; but I actually prefer it like this. More juicy feeling on hops. Will grab a 4 pack eventually, got another single for now. I have been buying a lot of Founders beer the last couple months with the recent seasonals. I love pretty much everything year round too, so it is hard to avoid.

Always amazing, this is my favorite shelf BBA stout of all time. Flavors of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, molasses, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, wood, and dark bread; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, smoke, and char. Balanced bittersweet roast/char finish with some spicy bourbon/oak against sweetness. Light-medium carbonation and very full bodied creamy/silky rich mouthfeel. Very smooth sipping, lightly warming. This and Wulver are always in my cellar stock now, despite the price. Worth it for me though.

Wow! Amazing stuff. Aromas and flavors of huge pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger bread, vanilla, rum, toasted oak, toffee, brown sugar, and brown bread; with light notes of molasses, chocolate, cocoa, and dark fruits. Light-moderate herbal/spice bitterness and rum/oak tannin spiciness. Medium-full bodied; balanced bready/grainy creaminess, spice stickiness, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Increasing spicy/tannic dryness, no astringent flavors. Increasingly warming finish, slight booze. Insane smoothness. Absolutely perfect balance between malt, spice, and rum barrel complexity. This is just over a year old now, but I reviewed it a few months ago. For 17.5% you'd have no idea. Love the Pump[KY]n just as much, but this one has a much more intense aroma profile. Both are top tier pumpkin ales for sure. Still on the shelf from last year. Will have to pick more up. Definitely worth the price.

This one is on a French webshop for 25€(!). How much for you guys in the US?

No matter how exceptional it is, I won't spend so much on a bottle.

This one, with which I am well pleased . . .

Surprisingly malty on entry. I say surprising because I was really expecting a hop hit first but that didn't happen until the liquid nectar reached the back of my tongue where hops sprang forth in a most pleasant way. Hop muscles are being flexed but it's more like runners than wrestlers, a light, smooth flowing of hop flavor that builds up to but does not cross over into bitterness. I could drink this all day but at 7.2% don't know how far I'd get.
