    34° this morning got our attention, although it's a beautiful 55° and sunny now.

    Pins And Needles double dry hopped DIPA by 18th Street. Beautiful artwork by Joey Potts and a very good beer. Time for some R&R on the patio with a tune it reminded me of.

    Folks let me make a blunt point please, is WBAYDN dying for the last couple of weeks?

    Week WBAYDN are usaully locked down at 6-7 pages nowadays.
    Weekend WBAYDN usaully never go over 11 pages, Friday likewise Saturday.

    Why? I thought that the new ''Beer Karma'' thing definitely doesn't help people posting ONLY in this thread, youn can have 2500 posts and 35.000 likes and your beer karma still stuck at 'defender' at best 'crusader'.

    The new Beer Karma obviously focus on rating and reviewing, preferably well throughout long wided reviews. That's how we get tons of points. Posting 2-3 beers in WBAYDN everyday doesn't though.

    The other point was people getting ''burned out'' of the thread. Or are posting much less than they used too (Myself included). Not going to name anyone but some BAs leaving have been noticed.

    Personally I don't mind a smaller WBAYDN, but I do miss the fun, the jokes certains posters would produce daily.

    I still get a kick out of seeing all the different beers out there. Though I know I'll never come across most of them to at the store.

    Took the bike out to the rail trail and the Walkway Over the Hudson. Nice to ride without cars zipping by.

    Picked up one of these Peak Amber Ales off the bargain shelf. It's about a year past it's best by. It didn't explode into a foaming volcano when I opened it. For a buck thought it was worth a try. meh, probably fresh it's better. I might finish it. I'll certainly appreciate the Dirty Bastard that's on deck.

    Bars lose clientele for various reasons all the time. I guess the virtual bar isn't immune? I'm personally more intrigued by the people that post from sunrise to the late hours of the night on a regular basis. That's some serious dedication to the cause!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
