    With my bachelor party on tap fir this weekend, i decided to get the festivities off on the right foot and open this wonderful porter from Funky Buddha..Last Buffalo in the Park...cheers!!

    Drinking a special edition Peche Mortel. It sounds like the coffee used is different from what is normally used, but they don't give any more details. Tastes amazing! Cheers to a great weekend!

    Light ginger ale appearance with white cap.

    Pleasing clean aroma of herbal, spicy hops over a sweet malt base.

    Flavor is hop forward on entry which is sharper than I was expecting. Not straighten your hair stunning but enough to be surprising for an AAL lager. Hops are quickly joined by malt/grain providing a smooth, round texture which gives heft to the whole. Malt taste is pleasantly rich without being sweet and these two flavors intermingle together lasting to the finish which ends on a dry note.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    Overall it's a favorable impression of a well made adjunct lager that has poise, balance and makes friends easily.
