Thanks! My brother got it for me in Germany. West Germany, actually - that's how long ago it was. Somehow it got packed away for 17 years, but when I recently found it again I just had to put it in the regular rotation. I always loved how that thin pewter feels on my lips when the beer chills it down somewhat.

It's the perfect time of year to start using it again, too- which is a nice bonus .

Damn, I can smell the hops in this beer from a yard away. Maybe even a meter.

Probably my favorite Toppling Goliath drank.

 

The Abyss. My son went to sleep and my husband popped it open for us to split. It's probably been 3 years since I had it. Still as awesome as ever. No drop in quality here.
