    Believe it or not, I have not yet visited. I'm planning on hitting Jax again this week; maybe I'll hit them up for dinner (if they have food - and if not, a beer will do!).

    I'm really fond of that beer. I think they nailed it. I'm not a fan of rum in the slightest, either, but the barrel influence is restrained and effective, I think.

    No food. You'll have to check their Facebook page for food trucks. What I remember from when I lived there 2 years ago was trucks in the parking lot on Fridays and Saturdays. Not a lot of other options close by in that part of town...

    Now having an Anchorage Galaxy...Not usually a fan of the white IPA style, but this one is amazing. A new favorite in the stye.

    Good afternoon, all, and Happy New Designs by Alyssa Handpainted Weizen Glass Sunday! I've been looking forward to this for over a week now. Alyssa texted me last weekend to tell me that she had finished a fall-themed glass. She presented it to me at church this morning. Full disclosure: I am not drinking out of this, and I probably never will. The painted design is quite fragile, and I don't want to handle it any more than necessary. That said, if I were going to drink out of it, I think it is worthy of no less than this Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. Prost!
