What beer are you drinking now? #182

So terribly terribly sorry to hear this.

 

I'm still drinking Founders KBS Devils Cut version !! Thank you to friends at the Black Party and to new friends I might tonight there !!

 

Definitely a perk. Summer's the best because it means as much trail running as I can pack into the week, plus the beer tastes better for like three different reasons.

 

Nice, man! That's good to know that Resin hangs on for a while.

 

Tired Hands Station. I've had this growler since Thurs and it's held up just fine. Luckily I get to finish the whole thing tonight!

Just enjoyed my first Double Trouble from one of those DFH/SN Spiegelau IPA glasses. A few thoughts:

1) the beer was all-around pretty great: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1199/34146/?ba=fmccormi
2) the glass actually does enhance the aroma quite a bit—might look weird but the carbonation and aroma are better
3) Founders consistently makes at least good, if not great, beer
4) the glass looks too light, but it actually has a great feel in-hand

Aaaaand I'm watching a little Portlandia.

 

And it 'ain't easy to find for alot of us Yankees either!

 

This while listening to some Lotus live from Founders 2002.

 

Your post hit an emotional chord, we had to put down both of our Greyhounds in the past (12) months. I raise my glass to you and Abbey, I've been in the same position and wish there was something I could say or do to make the situation better. *sigh*

 

My favorite would be "Mixologist". Love the restaurant scene.
