    Wow, busy Friday morning! My last official day of vacation (although there's still the weekend of course).

    There's something just right about a coffee stout in the morning.

    Of the Evil Twin stout series, I lean toward IBB vice Even More Jesus. Granted, the latter isn't a coffee stout, and Aun Mas Cafe Jesus is right up there with IBB for me.

    Alright you guys! "Man down!" I was down for a while and now I am back. Today! I am going to pair this oatmeal stout which is my favorite with an original dish. Open faced wontons. I also made some coffee gelato to go with. Yowsa and cheers Ba!

    Moving on to greatness in a bottle. This is near the top of my list. Barrel aged imperial porter brewed with toasted coconut & maple syrup. Lorelei in bourbon! Omnipollo - I love you!

    It’s very good. Probably a served a little too cold here. Chilli is not over the top. Worth picking up 1 bottle.

    The one to beat so far is the Mikkeller Vanilla Maple

    Still pissed I didn’t make it up for that one. They have a blueberry coffee maple syrup version of Only Void at Brew Café, it was crazy good!
