I tasted the peppers a lot more in last year's version. Lots of different layers to this beer with so many added ingredients. Its definitely a dessert beer for me, can't have more than one.

I just asked the girl if anyone in her family is a mechanic. She responded "we don't do that stuff."

Evil Twin Naked Lunch In A Copenhagen Heavenly Resto, 10% ABV, 45 IBU. Pours light black with no head. Nose is coffee and leather, taste follows, plus light chocolate, roast malt, a hint of licorice, and moderate bitterness. OK mouthfeel, overall very good.

Well this particular beer was caught up in a Bad Trader thread. Technically he wasn't labeled a bad trader but yeah...it's all there, except the conversation I posted, because of Photobucket crapping out since I posted it.

I traded a Huna for the Raspberry Soak, I was fine with it even though mine was valued much higher and harder to obtain. But the guy shit all over the extras I sent and tried to give me bad rating. It all got resolved and now I think it's been long enough I'm safe to open and drink this.

    If not, too late!

Fantastic witbier! Amazing head retention and thick lasting lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, pear, apple, orange zest, coriander, peppercorn, clove, and light banana/bubblegum yeast/spices; with balanced wheat, cracker, white bread malt sweetness; some herbal/grassy hop/spice and yeasty earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus bodied; with awesome bready/grainy wheat creaminess in the mouthfeel. Slight hop/spice stickiness. Minimal dryness. Super flavorful and refreshing for 5.2%. I have a hard time believing this uses American wheat yeast at all, regardless of what the website says. This is an absolutely spot on witbier. One of the best I've ever had. My new go-to for the style.

Always amazing, one of the best pumpkin ales I've ever had. Flavors of big pumpkin, clove, allspice, caramel, brown sugar, gingerbread, toast, cinnamon, nutmeg, and herbal spice earthiness. Light balancing herbal/spice bitterness against sweetness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; great bready malt creaminess and light spice stickiness in the mouthfeel. Slightly drying spice finish. This is probably the most authentic actual pumpkin-fruit forward beer I have had, with an amazing balance of spices. I definitely need to get another 6 pack if they are still around. Love it just as much as Pumking; but this has more malty/pumpkin sweetness, and less intense spice/seedy pumpkin presence and dryness. Top tier stuff for the style.

Not as hazy as last year, but just as amazing! Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with wheat, bready, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Crisp/drying finish and never astringent on bitterness. Amazing juicy, vibrant, and dank hop profile; refreshingly drinkable for an IPA. Mosaic and Equinox hops are my favorite of all time. They have been changing around the hops every year; but as long as those two stay, I don't care much.

Really delicious all around. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, vanilla, cream, and toasted dark bread; with light hints of nuttiness, smoke, dark fruit, and herbal hops. Light herbal/roast bitterness on the finish. Medium-full body; very creamy/silky in the mouthfeel; touch of chalky roast and minimal dryness. Well rounded stout complexity with balanced lactose/cocoa nib flavors. Super easy drinking for 9%. Minimal warming. A little higher in ABV than last year, but just as tasty as I remember.

Chitty pick, good beer! Like it much better than their porter. Nutty roasty with a hint of raspberry on the finish. Maybe that's leftover from my previous beer
