I'm currently following up a Victory at Sea with a DFH 90 Minute IPA as a palate cleanser, and oh my god if this isn't one of the best beer experiences I've had in a long, long time. Keep in mind that I'm probably a total featherweight compared to veteran BA'ers, but man this is a wonderful study in different flavor profiles playing off of each other. Best buzz I've had since.. well, I can't remember when, honestly. Wow.
My first full glass of this since last year. Gotta pick a buddy up at the airport tonight so it looks like it'll only be one beer till then.
First Enjoy by
Unpacking my first BIF box(es) and breaking in some new breweriana (both courtesy of ThreeFishes)...
Really enjoying my first Orval. Cheers!
Last Hopslam. A bittersweet moment to be sure.
Upright Fantasia, cheers.
Beautiful beer at the very least.
that might be the fullest pour I've ever seen. I wish you were a bartender around here.
South Jers has had it for over a year. We had people driving down from Toms River last summer to come down and buy variety and six packs. I'd put Elliot Ness in the top 20 that got me into craft, love GL.
Gonna finish the night on the light side with a Henry Weinhard's Blue Boar. Cheers! to all.
Now I'm drinking a great IPA my friend and I brewed a few weeks ago. For those who saw my post not too long ago about the beer I made that was of low ABV, it is that beer. I used about a pound or so of honey from my parents bee hives and it is a low alcohol IPA. I call it, "Honey, I shrunk the IPA"
Corny, but I've been drinking so what do I care?
Something special for Draft Night! E-A-G-L-E-S......Eagles!!!!!

I really had no interest in this beer until the White Oak comparisons...but maybe I'll just try to get my aunt to bring me some White oak instead.

Some have bashed this beer, but we found it to be pretty great.
I hope to be in possession of one of those variety packs next week- it's finally here!
Hey hey hey hey hey, it's the first time I've seen this lovely and talented IPA in cans!
Have fun, folks!

Just having a casual night tonight
This one really grows on you- I'll probably wind up having a couple more (as it is meant to be...)

A big fist pump goes out to Onenote81, a mysterious box arrived on the front porch today so of course I had to break in that cool tulip glass on the left with one of those beers you sent (and my wife had to get in on the action there on the right).
Many thanks for the glass, the great beers, and for sending some NC sunshine due north!! Prost, man!
My first Pt5. Awesome!!! Finally.
