That beer age well? I know one store that still has those prior bottles in stock. I am sure thats a plus for the Abbey Ale, less sure about the Hennepin though and have held back from buying it from there.

    Eclectic beer and eclectic tunes...

A foreign/export stout, but so heavy with the cayenne, it could just as easily be considered a chile beer/stout...
Cumin, lime, cayenne, coconut, and curry in a stout base - I thought it was excellent, but the cayenne's heat and cumin's smoke could be a deal-breaker for some.

Meanwhile, stumbled onto these guys a while back, but past few days, I'm completely enamored with Volbeat...
Think: Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Life of Agony, Metallica, Mercyful Fate, and Kreator all rolled into one - from Denmark. This is their most recent album (intro ends at 1:25-ish).

    Enjoy.

I can't say one way or the other, I haven't aged this before. I'm not sure that aging would help.

What up errybody?! Have not been on here in a while. This whole eating well and cutting back drinking for the betterment of my health feels so un-American. First beer this week...

Always a good brew. Listening to a few tracks from Bon Iver's Austin city limits...

    Cheers all!!

Drinking a home brewed ESB. 7.2% and 55 ibu. Maris Otter malt. British Crystal 75L malt. Special Roast malt. Hops: Challenger for bittering, East Kent Goldings and Crystal for flavor and aroma. Fullers ale yeast. Only costs 65 cents per 12oz. Rating = 3.5/5. Needs a little more roast. It's a lovely deep red color. Aroma is toffee, soft roasty malt and floral hops. No pics. Too much effort.

Listening to Jimmy Smith's - Six Views of the Blues (1962ish)

Sat = gardening day. Heavy manual labor = time for brews!
I had a 3 bean and a palate wrecker (highly recommend it as a gardening brew btw....)... oh, and a lot of water.

yeah, my fav beers aren't really sessionable... so glasses of water temper the dehydrating qualities of 9% abv's...
