My wife surprised me with a Founders Doom for my birthday.

 

Atlantic liquors had 8 just sittin on the floor, left 4 for some other lucky soul.

 

Thanks to kangarooAdam59 for this one. Its not bad, more vanilla and a bit sweeter compared to other porters I've had, not sure if I like that or not.

 

Earlier today stopped by a local establishment for a few growler fills while enjoying (2) Palate Wreckers on tap. Though empty in the picture the two growlers were filled before leaving, the one on the left with Palate Wrecker, the one on the right, Plead the 5th - fist pump! (Both will show up later this week. )



My favorite things about this time of year, warmer weather, budding trees and flowers, Hoptimum finally hits PA, and my hops are poking out of the ground.

I had my first founders sometime last year, fbs red rye, and centennial. I thought they we're all great, esp fbs. Since then their porter, fis, kbs, and now this blew my mind. They are now my number one in world class offerings
